1 What You'll Do

Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development professional for a six-month contract to identify and secure new business opportunities. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting outreach, customizing pitches, and building strong relationships with potential partners. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, you will leverage insights to address client needs effectively, drive growth, and contribute to our mission-driven approach.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify, qualify, and secure business opportunities.
  • Research prospect partners and secure meetings with PIC, including making and sending cold calling/email and customizing core pitches to prospects.
  • Understand client needs, provide compelling pitches, and offer solutions and support on and after meetings to answer potential client questions and follow-up call questions.
  • Prepare and send proposals and simulations to prospective clients and follow up to get responses.
  • Build business relationships with current and potential clients to create a snowball effect for referrals.
  • Work closely with Partnerships, Marketing, and other related departments in Danacita to get the feedback needed for market growth/fit the partner’s profile.
  • Create and maintain a list/database of prospective clients while also maintaining and updating database (CRM, spreadsheet, etc.) of prospective client information.
  • Close partnerships and work with the client through the closing process until onboarded.
  • Report, coordinate, and communicate an idea, input, or feedback (if any) to the direct supervisor on daily or weekly basis.

2 Qualifications

  • Willing to work on a contract basis for 6 months.
  • Team player and communicator: Strong written and verbal communication skills, and confident in engaging with school administrators.
  • Experienced in B2B sales and business development: At least min 1-2 years of experience in business development and closing deals.
  • Fast learner and experimenter: Ability to quickly understand pain points of schools and to develop creative solutions that address these needs.
