Senior Data Engineer

1 What You'll Do

• Design, build, test, and maintain scalable and reliable data pipelines (ETL/ELT).
• Design and implement data warehouse solutions.
• Optimize database structures and performance.
• Build data architectures for optimal extraction, transformation, and loading of data from various sources.
• Assemble large and complex datasets to meet business demands.
• Ensure data quality, robustness, and scalability while optimizing for cost-efficiency.
• Maintain and monitor data infrastructure.

2 Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in Data Engineering.
• Strong experience with cloud computing services (e.g. GCP/AWS).
• Experience with relational databases such as CloudSQL/RDS PostgreSQL.
• Experience with data warehousing solutions, preferably BigQuery, and familiarity with OLAP technologies like Redshift or Clickhouse.
• Proficiency in designing and implementing ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Experience with data orchestration tools like Airflow, Dagster, or Airbyte.
• Experience working with and consuming APIs.
• Strong understanding of data modeling concepts.
• Ability to design robust and scalable data solutions with cost optimization in mind.
• Experience with BI tools like Metabase is a plus.
• Experience in data management, including data quality, data governance, and data security is a plus.
